The Women’s Income Generation Centre (WIGC) is a Secular Charitable Women Organisation, established on 20th June, 1994 with Indira Oinam as the Secretary. Since the beginning, WIGC has been a part of solution in terms of employment generation, care and protection of destitute women, children & youth, and above all, sustainable livelihoods. The overall development of the society is the sum of the individual contributions from every angle.

Objectives
WIGC’s objectives revolve around the socio-economic upliftment of the weaker section, specially the destitute women through craftsmanship for their economic self-reliance while also providing care and protection of destitute women and children.
